Artist’s Note:
Created for Hatsuumamatsuri, just before Risshun (Beginning of Spring),
these dango are shaped like cocoons, symbolizing wishes for a bountiful silk harvest and good health.
Enjoyed with kinako (roasted soybean flour) and kuromitsu (brown sugar syrup), they convey the seasonal ritual and a quiet sense of blessing in every bite.

二十四節気のひとつ、立春の直前に行われる初午祭に合わせた団子です。
繭を模した形で、養蚕の豊作と健康を願い、きな粉と黒蜜でいただきます。
季節の節目を感じながら、ひと口で祈りと季節の息吹を味わっていただけたら嬉しいです。
