Chrysanthemums celebrations

9月9日、重陽の節句。今日は黄色の菊の花の練り切りです。花びらが短いのでハサミ菊のようにも見えますが、針切り箸を使いました。健やかにお過ごしください。 Today September 9th is the day of “Chou you no sekku” which means chrysanthemums celebrations or longevity celebration in Japan. Chrysanthemums are believed to have the power to purge evil spirits and bring longevity. Made a yellow color chrysanthemum using chopsticks with needles. Stay well and healthy.
